What a cost, what a waste, what we spend on weapons.  From events on the regal island of Britain, to the simple needs of villages and farms of Africa and Asia, to America's forums of debate, we once were able to operate through human means in fighting to defend ourselves, all of us, from the gloom of losing an entire planet morally in its ways, traditions, and boundaries.  But what kind of a balance led to a situation of mobile weapons systems, often activated, versus any understanding of a defense against what intolerable vile unchecked demon of the unloved versus the insatiable heart was waiting in its defiant power to wreak havoc with the principles of an unguarded freedom?  Then again who else would guard the timekeeper protecting sciences from being used for pure evil?

"Tell me you didn't see any good in that philosophy as your cloaked, formless, dark, and hateful selves."
